kc4k Sisters Start House for Hope!

Kids caring for Kids!

How can a Dad say no to his twin 13 year old daughters who ask him to help them DO MORE TO HELP KIDS? Kelsey and Katie Gruber (of our kc4k Advisory Board) did just that! And their parents stepped right up. Brian Gruber, owner of Ridge Stone Builders, and his wife, Jen, decided to start a heart-felt home build project called House for Hope that will benefit 2 local kids organizations. The girls chose the organizations because both Avalon and Jack (of Catching up with Jack) have been classmates of theirs and they wanted to make a bigger impact on the mission of helping other kids. Our kc4k kids have helped every step of the way, from the ground breaking to interior design, and helping the crews clean! House for Hope is already for sale, and should be completed in the Spring 2019.

Local Builder Partners with Kids to Provide Hope for Other Kids Fighting for their Lives

Perrysburg,  Nov. 12, 4:00 pm – Ridge Stone Builders launches the House for Hope Project! RSB is excited to help raise awareness with two unique organizations that are fueled BY kids, FOR kids.  The House for Hope is being built at 3256 Chasenwood Way Lot 174 Perrysburg, OH 43551.

House for Hope is a heartfelt home-build project sponsored by Ridge Stone Builders and their team of subcontractors and suppliers. Ridge Stone, a locally family-owned contracting company, believes deeply in giving back through supporting local organizations that strengthen our community. Over the course of the next six months, they are building a house in Perrysburg that will benefit two local non-profits whose focus is bringing hope to kids fighting life-threatening diseases with painful medical treatments: The Avalon Foundation and Catching Up with Jack. The home will be finished in early spring 2019 and ALL profits from the sale will benefit these organizations. To learn more about the project, go to www.kidsBUILDINGforkids.org. Sponsorship is currently open.

House for Hope benefits families with diagnosed kids facing unimaginable circumstances and painful treatments. When a child is diagnosed with a life-threatening disease, it affects the whole family’s stability and daily life. The organizations we have chosen as beneficiaries are committed to offering the support needed that truly makes a difference during these difficult times. Both Catching Up with Jack and The Avalon Foundation were founded by local families that lived through their own challenging story and now want to offer compassion and support for others on the same journey.

Many kid volunteers of both organizations will be joining Ridge Stone Builders on location at the House for Hope on Monday, November 12 at 4:00 pm to launch this project to the public- Please join us and meet some of our great leaders of tomorrow!
